APPSC Junior Lecturer Exam Pattern – Paper 1, Paper 2

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) examination consists of two papers, namely Paper 1 and Paper 2. In Paper 1, candidates will be assessed on General Studies & Mental Ability at the Degree Standard. This paper comprises 150 questions, to be completed within 150 minutes, with a maximum score of 150 marks. In Paper 2, candidates will delve into their Concerned Subject at the Postgraduate (P.G.) Standard. Similar to Paper-1, Paper-2 also consists of 150 questions, allowing 150 minutes for completion, but holds a higher weightage with a maximum score of 300 marks. It is important to note that there is a provision for negative marking. According to G.O. Ms. No.235 Finance (HR-I, Plg & Policy) Dept., Dt.06/12/2016, each incorrect answer will incur a penalty of 1/3rd of the marks allocated for the question.
